“ My absolute favourite place to have dim sum! I come here quite often, I absolutely recommend this place. The food is brilliant and the service is quite good too. ”
“ Absolutely delicious Chinese food! We went as a group of 8 on a Saturday night. The staff were attentive and we were served quickly. All the food that we tried tasted fresh and perfectly prepared. I was particularly impressed by the Char Siu pork bun, the dough was fluffy and the filling was flavoursome. Would definitely go back and highly recommend it as the best Chinese restaurant in Leicester. ”
“ After the change of management it was generally good. We checked with the waiter to see if the food was ready and if we could cancel it because we had waited for a long time. after 15-20 minutes had not one respond…? so we just ready to paid and leave, but then the cashier immediately said that the food was already served! …!? We were so frustrated because we had told them about the cancellation but they hadn't! In the end we had to pay and take away! I hope the management can allocate the efficiency properly! After the first visit, we’ve been back several times (and there will be more in the future for sure) and every single time, we are impressed, satisfied and happy with the food. We diversify the dishes: noodles, BBQ meat, rice dishes. Everything is huge and tasty. ————————— Previous comment: We had dim sum as dinner there. The quality differs immensely from dish to dish. The turnip cake was fantastic, seriously! And it arrived first so we expected that the following dishes would be the same, but sadly they weren’t. I think the steamed dishes were ok, but the deep fried dumplings were too small. The worst was the rib. It took so long to arrive that we had to ask if they forgot it. When it arrived, we knew immediately that it was frozen and thawed. It smelled bad too. Don’t order this one. ”
“ A good place to go to, for getting a good fix on Cantonese / HK dim sum. This place has tang yuan 湯圓 for the winter solstice 冬至 under the desserts. Always good to hear the familiar Cantonese chatter. Parked the car at the nearby mall and the restaurant is just outside the exit. Looks like a safe neighbourhood. ”
